Position Overview:  *Contingent Upon Contract Award* Has the overall responsibility to ensure that all station operations are performed in a consistent manner with the agreed procedures and protocol in accordance with company, TSA, airport, and client standards. The Site Director directs, plans, organizes, and coordinates with collaboration from Station Management, Supervisors, the day-to-day operations of the Aviation Security Officer force.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively represent the company and successfully interoperate with Airport Authority stakeholders and law enforcement, as appropriate
  • Meet with the client and stakeholders to ensure quality services, identify trends, and assure compliance with contractual requirements
  • Effectively monitor and guide subordinate supervisors, administrative personnel, and teammates
  • Implement effective recruitment, staffing/scheduling, training, and performance evaluations. Maintain complete and compliant records of security personnel
  • All findings or reports of inspections/training visits shall be submitted to the client designee within two (2) business days
  • Ensure all security functions are performed in accordance with TSA (Transportation Security Administration) regulations and corporate policies.
  • Evaluate station attendance and performance deficiencies and administer corrective measures in accordance with Human Resources policies.
  • Administer payroll reporting within the established guidelines and deadlines.
  • Ensure cost effective measures across the station.
  • Conduct daily briefings and occasional staff meetings.
  • Working with the station administrator and coordinate with the Training and Compliance department on all training (initial and recurrent) of station personnel.
  • Safeguarding company equipment and vehicles
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients
  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, security management,  or closely related field or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Resides within commuting distance of the Denver International Airport
  • Within the past five (5) years, must have successful experience managing a major security or screening operation
  • 3 years of Part 1542 regulated airport or other regulated government facilities or critical infrastructures where security guards were employed
  • Working knowledge of the aviation security industry to successfully implement compliant and quality aviation security operations.
  • Prefer 49 CFR Part 1542 experience or 49 CFR Part 1544/1546 experience
  • AAAE Airport Certified Employee (ACE) required within one year of hire
  • AAAE Certified Member (CM) Security Certification optional but preferred
  • Current certification at time of hire is preferable
  • Ability to successfully pass background checks and drug tests as necessary
  • Available to work various shifts, weekends and holidays depending on the airport’s security needs
  • Willing and able to participate in a drug test (either pre-employment or random) with negative results
  • Must be willing to pass a 10-year verifiable background check (employment, education, criminal and personal references)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain SIDA badge as distributed by local airport authority and US Customs and Border Patrol
  • Must be able to pass any initial and recurrent training classes as administered by the company, and/or local airport authority
  • Valid State issued Driver's License with clean driving record

Language Skills: English Proficiency required (reading, writing, and speaking)
