The Opportunity

As Integra continues to grow, we're looking for an Assistant Controller to help support our expanding construction, manufacturing, and project-based operations. This role will partner closely with Accounting, Finance, and Operations leadership to oversee day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, project accounting, and internal controls across multiple business units.

The Assistant Controller will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end close, driving process improvements, and helping operational leaders understand the financial performance of projects and business operations. This is an ideal opportunity for an accounting leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, partnering with the business, developing teams, and helping build scalable processes in a rapidly growing organization.

What you will do?

  • Lead daily accounting operations, month-end close, financial reporting, and project accounting activities across construction, manufacturing, and service operations.
  • Review financial statements, cash flow forecasts, project performance reports, and variance analyses to support business and operational decision-making.
  • Partner with Project Managers and Operations leaders on budgeting, forecasting, job costing, owner billings, contract setup, and project financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, GAAP, and company financial procedures while supporting audits and reporting requirements.
  • Develop, mentor, and support accounting staff while helping drive continuous improvement, process standardization, and reporting efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with an accounting emphasis.
  • CPA is required
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting, finance, project accounting, construction accounting, manufacturing accounting, or financial management experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger accounting, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
  • Experience working within major ERP systems such as Deltek Costpoint, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards, Infor, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience analyzing large datasets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and business partnership skills with the ability to work across accounting, finance, and operations teams.
