  • Travel: Moderate domestic travel and international travel to Europe and Japan, as needed

Position Summary Ares Management has continued to grow its portfolio of operating platform sub-brands within its Real Assets Group-Marq Logistics ("Marq"), Ada Infrastructure ("Ada"), SecureSpace, SLP-and expects to launch additional operating brands in the future.
To support a growing portfolio of operating sub-brands, Ares is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Marketing, Real Assets to provide global marketing and communications oversight for Marq Logistics, Ada Infrastructure, SecureSpace, SLP and any future brands that are launched. This leader will oversee the property marketing and communications functions for the portfolio of brands, setting the strategic marketing agenda and ensuring brand management to support occupancy targets across operating platforms. They will lead regional teams and initiatives across the Americas, the UK and Europe, Brazil, Vietnam, and Japan, ensuring alignment with Ares Real Asset's business goals for its operating platforms.
This role requires an entrepreneurial marketing leader with relevant experience across real estate and digital infrastructure sectors, capable of driving brand awareness, tenant engagement, and strategic communications in a fast-paced, global environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive global marketing and communications strategies aligned with Ares Real Asset's business goals for its operating platforms.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor regional marketing and communications teams, fostering collaboration and consistency across all markets.
  • Brand Stewardship: Ensure brand consistency across each sub-brand's channels and geographies, enhancing global reputation and market positioning.
  • Integrated Campaigns: Oversee the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, content, PR, and events.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with regional Real Assets leadership and the Ares Management Corporate Communications & Marketing team.
  • Media & PR: Collaborate with the Ares Management Corporate Communications & Marketing team in support of media relations, crisis communications, and thought leadership initiatives for the operating sub-brands.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure the effectiveness of marketing and communications efforts.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage global marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and ROI.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing and communications, with prior leadership experience across real estate and digital infrastructure sectors.
  • Proven track record of managing global teams and multi-regional marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing, digital channels, and brand development.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working within or alongside an alternative investment firm is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Multilingual capabilities are a plus


Reporting Relationships

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.

$200,000 - $275,000
