Job Summary:
mthree is a technology and business consultancy that has been helping clients solve their business and technological challenges since 2010. They are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Developer to design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems, focusing on developing robust solutions using Python and AWS while driving best practices across the SDLC.
Responsibilities:
• Design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems .
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a focus on performance and security.
• Conduct design reviews and code reviews to ensure quality and best practices.
• Drive and enforce Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) best practices .
• Optimize applications using tools such as AWS X-Ray .
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and manage expectations , aligning technical delivery with business objectives.
• Collaborate across multiple lines of business and with upstream/downstream partners.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with the ability to lead or mentor junior engineers
• Strong programming expertise in Python (and/or other languages)
• Experience with: Machine Learning / Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, Agentic AI systems
• Writing and maintaining Markdown documentation
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services
• Familiarity with AWS Athena, AWS X-Ray, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), VS Code and modern development environments, GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted coding tools
Preferred:
• Experience building trade and risk management systems
• Demonstrated experience or capability in team leadership or technical leadership
