As a Security Officer Secure Entry in Pontiac, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location where you will monitor entry points, manage access control, and patrol assigned areas to help support a secure environment. In this role, you will remain visible, help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, credential verification, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, check badges and/or visitor credentials, manage sign-in processes, and report unusual or unauthorized access activity in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations at the location with professionalism, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts regarding security-related concerns.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, lobby areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
  • Support daily operations at a fast-paced technology-focused location by following post orders, maintaining awareness of restricted areas, and assisting with security-related inquiries and/or directions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
