Job description

Based in Los Angeles, CA, we’re a growing firm known for our organized systems, collaborative culture, and commitment to precision. We’re seeking a Legal Secretary with strong calendaring experience: an ideal opportunity for a legal secretary who enjoys structure and accuracy and is ready to focus on a dedicated calendaring role within a supportive department environment.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update firmwide litigation and administrative calendars with accuracy and attention to deadlines
  • Perform manual calculations and reporting for case schedules, filing dates, and court rules
  • Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure timely docket entries and compliance with local and federal rules
  • Review notices, court filings, and correspondence to identify and record key dates


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a law firm setting, preferably as a legal secretary or docketing specialist
  • Strong knowledge of court rules, filing procedures, and calendaring systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail and comfort performing manual calculations and deadline tracking
