Medical Receptionists/Secretary Administrator Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures.
  • Welcome patients and visitors to the Practice.
  • Front desk check-in and check-out, work diligently with each patient. Scheduling appointments, preparing for daily clinics, maintaining EMR, and answering incoming telephone calls.
  • Maintain inbound and outbound faxes.
  • Maintain patient portal.
  • Maintain Klara.
  • Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating patient's demographics.
  • Collect patient's co-pays and balances.
  • Helps patients in distress by notifying the appropriate staff member.
  • Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
  • Maintaining the reception area.

Schedule: Full-Time 

Day shift

Monday-Friday

Three locations: Stony Point, Henrico, and Mechanicsville

Work Remotely: NO
