Job description

JOB GOAL: The School Secretary performs a variety of secretarial functions, administrative assistant duties to assist with administrative and clerical detail; coordinate flow of communications, correspondence and information in support of operations and activities; and provide assistance to visitors as well as working with records and reports.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: General knowledge of standard office and secretarial practices, procedures, equipment, and secretarial techniques; ability to keyboard accurately, ability to interact professionally with a variety of individuals, and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Demonstrated organizational skills
General knowledge of standard office and bookkeeping practices
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Secretary experience preferred
