We currently have openings for Test Technicians on 2nd shift in our Clarksburg, MD Campus. Test Technicians will report to the Manager of Manufacturing. First shift hours are 5:00 am-2:30 pm. Second shift hours are 2:30 pm to 12:00 am. Second shift candidates must be able to train on first shift for up to 4 weeks before transferring to second shift. 

Responsibilities

  • Perform board and unit level testing per test procedures with minimum supervision.
  • Properly connect test equipment.
  • Keep team lead informed of stack and product issues.
  • Properly sign in on correct PIDs, complete ESD testing, and follow all manufacturing guidelines and procedures.
  • Run most tests in factory.
  • Support Environmental Stress Testing (ESS) with minimum supervision.
  • Work safely with high voltage and high power transmitters.
  • Maintain a neat and tidy work area and be compliant with ESD and FOD policies.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship required. - Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications - Fluent in English.
  • 2 year Electronic degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 2 - 4 years of equivalent experience.
  • Basic understanding of electronics terminology and application. Ex: Volts, Amps, Ohms, Phase, Modulation, dBm, dBc, Intermodulation, etc.
  • Familiar with AC, DC, RF test and measurement equipment operation.
  • Experience using Excel, Word, Outlook. SAP S/4/Hana preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs with or without assistance.
  • Shall be accountable for quality, quantity, and inspection of all work performed.
  • Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values.

The hourly pay range for this role is $22.15 - $28.30 USD along with a target incentive compensation plan (ICP) of 3%. Once training on 1st shift is successfully completed, 2nd shift employees will transition to 2nd shift and become eligible for an additional $1.50 per hour shift differential.  The pay range provided is a good faith estimate representative of the experience level for the role described above.  TDSI considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
