As a Security Officer Seasoned Experience in Columbia, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic public service location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. In this people-first role, you will deliver outstanding customer service, support access awareness, and communicate clearly with visitors and staff while working as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that leads with integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.95 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, remaining aware of changing conditions and helping to deter unwanted activity through visible presence.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
