What is seasonal work?

Seasonal work refers to temporary employment positions that are available only during certain times of the year, often based on industry needs or fluctuations in demand. Common examples include jobs in agriculture during harvest, retail during holidays, or tourism-related roles during peak travel seasons. Seasonal work can also provide valuable experience and, in some cases, may lead to permanent job opportunities.

Seasonal work often requires a high degree of flexibility, as schedules may include evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate peak business periods. Employers typically look for individuals who can adapt to changing shifts and potentially work extra hours during busy times. Being open to varied tasks and schedule changes can help you succeed and may even open the door to future opportunities with the employer.
