Description

SUMMARY: 

The role of the Marina Attendant at Whitetail Club is to carry out the daily operations of the marina.  They collaborate closely with the reservations team to maximize the opportunities with slip and boat rentals.  They provide exceptional guest and member experiences while assisting at the docks and conducting guided services such as lake tours and sailing lessons, to name a few. Ensuring consistency, safety and accuracy in processes and procedures, while maintaining the property are paramount.   


WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

Maintaining Shore Lodge, Whitetail Club's fleet of boats

Accurately tracking marina slip, boat, and equipment rentals

Verifying marina reservations on a daily basis and completing tasks in preparation for the day's activities

Manage end of day returns of the boats (docking, cleanup, line maintenance)

Preparation and captaining of lake tours and sailing lessons

Organizing both seasonal and daily slip rentals

Maintaining marina lines and fenders 

Conducting daily preventative boat maintenance including verification of fluid levels as well as preventative boat lift maintenance

Maintaining responsibility for organization and cleanliness of all marina areas, including docks and dock boxes

Assisting with docking of guests' boats

Launching company fleet boats and guests' boats at the local boat ramp

Fueling company fleet boats

Being well versed in all resort operations in order to be able to assist at all times

Taking initiative on projects that need attention without direct supervision


Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: 

Must be 21 years of age and have experience driving or captaining motorized vessels

Possession of a valid driver's license and clean driving record required

Experience launching boats while maintaining a level of accuracy and safety

3 years of prior experience in the Marina/Recreation Industry

Previous Sailing and Kayak experience preferred

CPR/First Aid Certification preferred

Ability to multi-task while providing superior customer service skills required
