Job description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Designer to support our growing women's woven business.

Responsibilities

• Support seasonal design development from concept through proto stage under direction of Senior Designer and Design Director
• Create original design concepts, sketches, and seasonal development ideas
• Execute detailed woven PLM body sheets including trim, construction, and development details
• Partner directly with factories to support development, clarify details, and track deadlines
• Participate in fittings and take ownership of follow-up revisions and development updates
• Assist in selecting trims, fabrics, and color direction for seasonal development
• Conduct trend research and translate market direction into seasonal concepts
• Shop market and present findings to design leadership
• Support development of garments ensuring alignment with aesthetic, quality, cost, and fit requirements
• Partner cross-functionally with technical design, merchandising, and production teams
• Support seasonal line development from concept through sample execution
• Assist in maintaining development calendars and time and action deliverables
• Help manage assigned categories or portions of the line
• Support presentation boards, line sheets, and seasonal design decks
• Assist in managing sample development and proto tracking
