Job description

Cottonwood Distribution, a proud family-owned business with over 60 years of service, is hiring Seasonal Warehouse Associates to support our busy peak season (April through September). In this role, you'll help ensure customer orders are picked, organized, and delivered accurately and on time. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy hands-on work, we'd love to have you on the team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Use a mobile WMS system to pick and replenish products for customer orders
  • Ensure all items are picked accurately and on time
  • Organize and label orders for delivery
  • Assist with receiving and stocking inventory
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
  • Work both independently and collaboratively with team members
  • Follow all safety procedures in a safety-sensitive environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment is a plus
  • Food Handler's Permit preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly (with or without accommodation)
  • Comfortable working in multiple temperature environments, including refrigerated and freezer areas
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with frequent interruptions
  • Basic math skills for order accuracy and inventory tracking
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written in English)

Schedule:
  • Seasonal position: April through September
  • Sunday through Friday
  • Typical hours: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Occasional overtime may be required

Work Environment:
  • Warehouse temperatures range from subzero freezer conditions to approximately 80ยฐF
  • Exposure to moving equipment, noise, and varying environmental conditions
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements
