Job description

We are seeking experienced fellers to join our team as a Forestry Journeyperson. This position will have an employee traveling regularly to projects inside and outside of Ohio, bringing a wealth of knowledge including felling, climbing (preferred), and a safety first focus in all assigned tasks.


Candidates must possess a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a production forestry/arboriculture position.


Candidates for this position should be enthusiastic and experienced arborists familiar with the skills needed to safely complete production tree work.


What candidates should possess:

  • Driver’s License and clean driving history (required)
  • MRS hitch climbing or SRS experience (preferred)
  • Experience removing trees (both large and small)
  • Attention to detail in all operations
  • Genuine interest in arboriculture
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Safety First Focus
  • Enjoy working as a team in varying weather conditions
  • ISA Certified Arborist® credential (preferred)
  • CDL Class A (preferred)
