The firm focuses on delivering accurate, timely, and compliant tax preparation services tailored to each clientโ€™s needs. C & A Tax Service values clear communication, attention to detail, and strong client relationships throughout the tax season. Team members work closely with clients to simplify complex tax matters and help them make informed financial decisions.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Seasonal Tax Preparer role based in Taylorville, Sherman, or Auburn, IL. The Seasonal Tax Preparer will meet with clients, gather and review financial information, and prepare federal and state individual and small business tax returns. Responsibilities include verifying documentation, applying current tax laws and regulations, identifying eligible deductions and credits, and ensuring returns are accurate and filed on time. The role involves explaining tax outcomes to clients in clear, accessible language, maintaining organized records, and collaborating with team members during peak tax season.
