Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Specialist / Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the SDS Division.

This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What You'll Get To Do:

  • Represent GSC in ROSE negotiations, design reviews, and PDP sign offs to ensure complete and accurate information is incorporated in each stage of the process

  • Review and hand off complete and accurate requisitions to the procurement team

  • Support program by providing guidance, status, and support throughout the product lifecycle on behalf of GSC

  • Coordinate with the GSCPMs to develop and communicate the material execution plans

  • Support division material sales goals by creating the GSC material forecast and working cross functionally to drive accuracy to the forecast

  • Creation and maintenance of the material masters within SAP to ensure proper planning and requirements generation can occur

  • Identify and promptly communicate all deficiencies and deviations from plan and assure and manage actions required to correct them.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

Supply Chain Planning Specialist:

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience; master's degree and 0 years' experience. Four additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

  • Must be a U.S citizen and have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope,(<6yrs) with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access

  • Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business need.

  • Experience with Supply Chain best methods and practices

  • 2+ years of in-depth experience with either Costpoint, SAP, ERP System and or other similar systems focused on MRP Functions and Transactions

  • Experience working relationship with technical staff, peers, customers, suppliers

Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience; master's degree and 3 years' experience; PhD and 1 years' experience. Four additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

  • Must be a U.S citizen and have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope,(<6yrs) with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access

  • Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business need.

  • Experience with Supply Chain best methods and practices

  • 3+ years of in-depth experience with either Costpoint, SAP, ERP System and or other similar systems focused on MRP Functions and Transactions

  • Experience working relationship with technical staff, peers, customers, suppliers

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have for Both Roles:

  • Prior work experience in Aerospace & Defense

  • Experience working in CPLM

  • Secret Clearance

  • Skilled use of Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project).

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to establish a solid working relationship with technical staff, peers, and customers

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
