Job description

The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Development & Industrialization for PAC-3 and Future Interceptor is responsible for leading the end-to-end development of the future supply base supporting next-generation interceptor programs, obsolescence redesigns, and second-source qualification initiatives.
This role bridges Engineering, Supply Chain, Programs, and the Industrial Base organization to ensure that future products are designed for affordability, manufacturability, scalability, and supply chain resiliency from concept through production readiness.
The role also leads supplier engagement for design optimization, cost reduction, and manufacturing readiness, ensuring suppliers are capable of meeting long-term production rate, cost, and performance requirements.
This leader is accountable for shaping the future industrial base and developing the team that will be ready to support the mission.
Partner with Engineering, GSC teams and Program leadership to lead supply chain strategy for next-generation interceptor systems
Lead sourcing and development for critical technologies
Ensure early alignment of design decisions with production scalability, cost, and supplier feasibility
Drive supplier selection strategies for development and production readiness
Collaborate with engineering teams and suppliers to drive cost-effective design decisions early in development
Identify and implement recurring cost reduction opportunities
Ensure affordability is embedded into design decisions, not addressed after release
Build strategy with the Supply Chain Resiliency Sr Manager to develop and execute multi-year strategy for second-source qualification across critical components that synergizes rate ramps and new develop efforts
Manage supplier qualification execution to support cost and schedule objectives
Ensure long-term continuity of supply for mission-critical components on the technical insertion roadmaps
Serve as key interface between Engineering, Supply Chain, Programs, and Industrial Base Resiliency teams
Align supplier strategy with enterprise industrial base objectives (capacity, resilience, cost, and rate readiness)
Support transition from development to production with minimal disruption and risk
Lead proactive identification and mitigation of obsolescence risks
Drive redesign efforts for end-of-life components in coordination with engineering
Develop long-term technology refresh roadmap for critical subsystems
Ensure continuity of supply for aging or constrained technologies
Coach and develop team of leaders and individual contributors centered around a common mission
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
