What You Will Do:
- Weld structural steel connections for new and retrofit steel erection projects .
- Inspect welds as necessary to meet product specifications
- Fitting , connecting and bolt up of structural steel
- Steel cutting with a torch and grinding .
- Assist with steel erection connecting and bolt up.
- Equipment rigging.
- Pre engineered metal building erection
- Follow job site safety and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work area. Identify safety hazards to protect self and others.
What You Will Bring:
- Must be able to certify in stick structural welding
- OSHA 10/30 Certified, preferred. If you do not have OSHA 10/30, it will be required before starting the position (certification paid by company)
- Lift trained
- RTF and forklift experience
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Candidates must have transportation and good communication skills
- Be willing to work within a 50-mile radius. Willingness to travel to other states for work is a plus!
- Be able to work in a variety of seasonal and weather conditions
Abilities:
- Possess all auditory, speaking and communicating capabilities
- Physical requirements: standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50lbs., seeing and reading
