We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on residential and light commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Service Calls & Diagnostics
    • Respond promptly to residential and light commercial service requests.
    • Use advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and identify HVAC system malfunctions.
    • Test and evaluate system components to determine necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Routine Maintenance
    • Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including cleaning and replacing filters, inspecting coils, checking refrigerant levels, and lubricating fans and motors.
    • Conduct seasonal system tune-ups to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
  • Repair, Replacement & Installation
    • Repair or replace defective parts such as compressors, thermostats, motors, and valves.
    • Perform system upgrades or complete installations when necessary, following manufacturer specifications and code requirements.
  • Customer Communication & Service
    • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to explain system issues, proposed repairs, and maintenance options.
    • Educate homeowners on system care, energy-saving tips, and available service plans.
  • Documentation & Reporting
    • Maintain accurate and timely records of all service visits, including diagnostics, repairs performed, and parts used.
    • Complete work orders, service tickets, and electronic documentation using mobile applications or standard forms.
  • Safety, Compliance & Environmental Practices
    • Follow all safety procedures, including the safe handling and disposal of refrigerants and hazardous materials.

  • Team Collaboration & Scheduling
