Seasonal Security Guard

We are currently seeking reliable, polished, and proactive Seasonal Security Guards to support high-traffic assignments during our peak season. These roles operate in fast-paced public environments, special events, and community venues, offering valuable field experience and growth opportunities within the organization.

As a Seasonal Security Guard, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe, controlled, and professional environment across a variety of assignments. This includes large-scale events, parking operations, public gatherings, and recreational venues, where visibility, communication, and sound judgment are essential.

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in active, customer-facing environments and can uphold a strong professional presence while adapting to evolving site needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional and visible security presence at assigned locations
  • Conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols to deter and detect activity
  • Monitor assigned areas, access points, and surrounding environments
  • Assist with crowd management, access control, and general site safety
  • Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies
  • Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, clients, and the public
  • Prepare accurate and timely incident reports and daily activity logs
  • Maintain professional demeanor in high-traffic and high-visibility settings
  • Follow all company protocols, site directives, and regulatory standards
Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Requirements:
  • Active BSIS Guard Card (Applicants must possess a valid California BSIS Guard Card at the time of hire. The company does not sponsor, provide, or cover the cost of obtaining guard cards)
  • Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving history
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between varying sites
  • Ability to pass a background screening consistent with position requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in event security, parking operations, or public venue assignments
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to remain calm, composed, and professional in fast-paced environments
  • High level of situational awareness and attention to detail
Work Expectations:
  • Open availability strongly preferred, especially for overnight, evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak event hours
  • Demonstrated reliability and consistency in attendance and scheduling responsiveness
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and work outdoors in varying conditions
  • Professional uniform standards required (duty belt, tactical attire; vest preferred)
