Security Officer (Camera Monitoring & Warehouse Patrol Fremont)
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable Security Officers to provide comprehensive security services for the AIVRES Fremont warehouse facility. This position includes CCTV camera monitoring, warehouse foot patrols, QR checkpoint verification, access control inspections, safety monitoring, and incident reporting. Security Officers are responsible for protecting client personnel, inventory, equipment, and property while maintaining compliance with all site-specific post orders. The ideal candidate is observant, professional, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced 24/7 warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
CCTV Camera Monitoring

  • Continuously monitor all assigned CCTV cameras and maintain situational awareness of the entire facility.
  • Observe entrances, exits, loading docks, parking lots, perimeter fencing, and vehicle gates.
  • Monitor warehouse production areas, restricted work areas, and high-value inventory locations.
  • Detect unauthorized access, tailgating, trespassing, theft, policy violations, and suspicious activity.
  • Monitor loading dock operations for unauthorized personnel, vehicles, deliveries, or suspicious loading and unloading activity.
  • Observe employee and visitor activity for unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, and equipment misuse.
  • Monitor for fire, smoke, water leaks, medical emergencies, safety hazards, equipment failures, camera malfunctions, and system tampering.
  • Immediately notify Dispatch of emergencies, suspicious activity, or system failures.
  • Record camera numbers, dates, times, and locations for all reportable incidents.
  • Preserve video evidence in accordance with company procedures.
  • Never leave the CCTV monitoring station unattended without authorized relief.
  • Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs), incident reports, and required documentation.
Warehouse Patrol Operations
  • Conduct scheduled interior warehouse foot patrols every 50 minutes.
  • Complete all 28 required GPS-verified QR checkpoint scans during each patrol cycle.
  • Inspect personnel entrances, emergency exits, warehouse access doors, dock doors, roll-up shutters, and restricted areas.
  • Verify all doors and dock entrances are properly secured after business hours.
  • Inspect all nine alarmed dock doors, with special attention to Dock Door 19 and Dock Door 26 used for loading and unloading operations.
  • Monitor warehouse inventory and storage areas for unauthorized movement, improper staging, theft, or suspicious activity.
  • During adverse weather, inspect for roof leaks, water intrusion, standing water, wet floor hazards, and water damage.
  • Observe property conditions, maintenance concerns, and safety hazards throughout each patrol.
  • Immediately report suspicious activity, safety hazards, maintenance issues, and security concerns to Dispatch.
  • Complete accurate Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident documentation.
Communication & Reporting
  • Conduct radio function tests at the beginning of every shift.
  • Verify communication with Dispatch and assigned CCTV personnel.
  • Maintain professional radio communication throughout the shift.
  • Report radio malfunctions immediately.
  • Coordinate security operations with Dispatch and fellow Security Officers.
  • Perform thorough shift pass-downs to ensure continuity of operations.
Qualifications
  • Previous security, warehouse, or CCTV monitoring experience preferred.
  • Strong observation, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to monitor multiple camera screens and perform extended foot patrols.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a security team.
  • Basic computer, smartphone, QR scanning, and radio communication skills.
  • Ability to remain alert and respond appropriately during emergencies.
