Job Title: Disaster Recovery Manager
Location: Newark, NJ

Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced DR Coordinator to lead and mature the client enterprise-wide Disaster Recovery & IT Resiliency Program. Serve as central DR authority, coordinating planning, testing, and recovery across complex hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive DR plans covering IBM mainframe (z/OS), Linux, Windows/x86, VMware, cloud (IaaS/PaaS), SAN, network, and replication technologies.

  • Plan and execute multiple annual DR tests (full-scale and component-level) with vendor Recovery Point Systems.

  • Coordinate cross-functionally with application, infrastructure, and leadership teams.

  • Manage vendor relationships, validate SLAs, and ensure hot site readiness.

  • Document test results, track remediation, and report on DR posture, risks, and metrics.

  • Drive continuous improvement and compliance with security/continuity requirements.

Required Experience (8+ yrs each):

  • IT Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity / IT Resiliency

  • IBM mainframe (z/OS, JCL, schedulers, storage replication)

  • Linux & Windows/x86 systems

  • Virtualization (VMware ESXi)

  • Cloud platforms (IaaS/PaaS)

  • SAN storage, networking, and data replication
