JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Operation of varied maintenance and landscaping at the City's Parks and ground areas.
  • Maintain indoor and outdoor pavilions.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
  • Assignments may be given in detail for each job or may follow an established routine.
  • Work is subject to review for quality and quantity

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or equivalent required. Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to multitask. Able to establish effective working relationships while treating members of the public, fellow City of Gary employees, and representatives of outside agencies with courtesy and respect.
