As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our field leaders by sourcing seasonal tax preparers and ensuring a positive candidate experience. You will actively source and screen applicants, promptly schedule interviews with hiring managers, and maintain a sense of urgency throughout the process. This role involves supporting multiple hiring managers simultaneously and managing a large candidate pool efficiently.
This is a full-time seasonal role with anticipated duration of August 24, 2026 - February 27, 2026
What you'll do here:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of job positions, including required skills, education, and the qualities of a successful candidate for the specific team.
  • Post job openings, actively source and screen candidates, review resumes/applications, and schedule interviews for hiring managers using various job boards (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Monster, Career Builder, Zip Recruiter, Glassdoor, Dice, Indeed, Handshake, Craigslist).
  • Coordinate, manage, and attend virtual job fairs as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation on all candidates, searches, and recruiting activities, including updates in the applicant tracking system (UKG).
  • Keep consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Review, edit, and update job opportunities in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), UKG, to attract higher quality and quantity of candidates.
  • Coordinate the interview and new hire process between hiring managers and candidates.
  • Actively network through social media groups, LinkedIn, and other platforms to share job openings and build a pipeline of interested candidates.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining consistent communication throughout the recruitment process.

Skills you'll bring for success:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in recruiting or human resources, ideally in a corporate setting.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with interview techniques, such as behavioral-based interviews and the STAR Method.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Experience managing candidate pipelines and requisitions within an ATS; experience with UKG or CareerPlug is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze staffing metrics to determine regional needs.
  • Sensitivity to understanding employees' needs while maintaining a balance to ensure staffing requirements are met.

What you'll get if you join us:
  • Teladoc (Unlimited Teladoc sessions, $18 per month to seasonal employees)
  • Free Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Corporate discount program
  • Free tax preparation training
  • Free tax filing services for all JH employees
  • Discounted Friends and Family tax return (terms apply)
  • Medical Low Plan with Company HSA Match (eligible to participate after working 1,500 hours annually)
