Job description

The Seasonal Logistics Clerk will effectively coordinate day-to-day logistics operations. They are responsible for import and export logistics, the execution of shipping services, and compliance documentation activities required for in/outbound shipping.

All seasonal positions are temporary and for a set amount of time, not to exceed 6 months. 

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 - 2:30 PM.

What You’ll Do

  • Follow and adhere to logistics processes and procedures, providing suggestions for improvements as applicable.
  • Organize transportation activities, including storage of goods, managing information accrued from point of origin to delivery, orchestrating transportation movements, and arranging for services as necessary.
  • Coordinate and track the movement of goods through logistic pathways.
  • Execute logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule.
  • Review freight rates and other transportation costs to keep working costs low.
  • Maintains quality throughout the logistics processes.
  • Develop and run logistics reports on a regular basis as instructed.
  • Ad-hoc projects as requested by management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience, especially in Excel.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Strong organizational skills and astute attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
