We're hiring Seasonal CDL-A In-Plant Drivers for our Bay City, Michigan sugar beet harvest operation.

Every year, dependable seasonal drivers help power one of Michigan's largest agricultural operations. Top-performing seasonal drivers may be offered full-time, year-round CDL-A positions with DHT following the harvest. We hire from within whenever possible.

Schedule
  • 12-hour day shifts
  • 3–5 shifts per week based on production needs
  • Overtime available during peak harvest
  • Weekend and holiday work as production requires
What You'll Do
  • Operate Class A commercial vehicles transporting sugar beets within the customer production facility
  • Load, haul, and unload product safely and efficiently
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain DOT compliance and required documentation
  • Report equipment concerns promptly
  • Work closely with plant personnel and dispatch
  • Represent DHT with professionalism and a safety-first attitude
Minimum Qualifications
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Safety-first mindset
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical
  • Ability to pass a DOT drug and alcohol screening
  • Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles
Preferred Qualifications
  • Dump trailer experience
  • Doubles (T) endorsement preferred but not required
  • Agricultural hauling experience
Physical Requirements
  • Lift and carry up to 25 pounds as needed
  • Climb in and out of commercial vehicles safely
  • Bend, stoop, and work outdoors throughout the harvest season
