Are you happiest on the trail, around horses, and surrounded by breathtaking scenery? Dogwood Canyon Nature Park is looking for enthusiastic, guest-focused individuals to join our team as Wrangler & Trail Guides.
This isn't your typical job. It's an opportunity to spend your days exploring one of the Midwest's most beautiful natural destinations, connecting guests with nature, and creating unforgettable outdoor experiences.
Whether you're an experienced horse enthusiast or someone eager to learn, we'll provide the training you need to succeed.
What You'll Do
As a Wrangler & Trail Guide, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while helping care for our equine partners.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading guided horseback trail rides through scenic park trails, ensuring guest safety
  • Providing engaging and informative tours for guests
  • Assisting with the daily care, grooming, feeding, and well-being of horses including maintaining barn cleanliness
  • Sharing your passion for nature, wildlife, and outdoor recreation
  • Supporting general ranch and stable operations as needed
