QF Analytics LLC is a fintech company that develops and supports one of the world’s fastest-growing online trading platforms with a monthly trading volume in excess of $11 billion dollars. We are expanding our team aggressively and looking ideally for individuals with trading domain knowledge, who can help develop and support a robust financial trading infrastructure.

We are looking to fill a cross functional position of Azure DevOps Engineer and SQL Administrator with an individual with a background in Financial Markets, to be directly involved in supporting the company’s data analysis and proprietary trading divisions.

This opportunity presents an exciting chance for individuals seeking a dynamic work environment. The successful candidate will have the option to work in a hybrid capacity, commuting to offices in Miami, Chicago, Atlanta, Toronto (Canada) or Nassau (Bahamas), fostering a collaborative and engaging atmosphere. Join our team and experience the synergy that comes from working together in person, while also enjoying the flexibility and convenience of working from home a couple days a week.

Responsibilities

Interface with data scientist, front-end developers, and dB administrators to provide necessary infrastructure to support firm’s proprietary trading programs;

Develop reliable, scalable, and monitored cloud-based infrastructure based on business requirements;

Provide required infrastructure for internal facing web portal;

Implement robust security protocols;

Implement backup policies, create recovery procedures, and develop full DRBC model.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Graduate degree is always a plus;

Azure Certified Solutions Architect;

Fundamental understanding of web application development;

Strong troubleshooting skills and experience handling high priority incidents;

Experience working in a team environment;

Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with programming languages in .Net (C#), Java, HTML5;

Strong knowledge of container services such as Docker and / or Azure Container Services.
