Job description

Job Summary

The Seasonal Golf Course Grounds Technician, working under direct supervision, is responsible to complete assigned maintenance and care of grounds and golf courses by operating a range of equipment and tools, including but not limited to mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, string-line trimmers, blowers, sweepers, and specialized grounds equipment. The role also performs general landscaping duties including mowing, raking leaves, planting flowers and pond maintenance and irrigation system monitoring and responds timely and professionally to customer requests and complies with all safety practices and procedures. Starting salary of $14.00 - $16.00 an hour based on experience and availability.

Job Responsibilities

  • Performs daily course setup tasks such as changing cups, raking bunkers, blowing debris, mowing, string trimming, landscaping, watering, tee service, and other golf course tasks as directed. 
  • Maintains the Company's high standards of quality, production, cooperation, and service for employees, guests, and customers. 
  • Adheres to all OSHA and Company safety/training/certification standards within the specified timeframes.

Job Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of experience in landscaping, golf course industry, or a related field. 
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a driving record that conforms to company standards. 
  • Availability to work a variable schedule including weekends, holidays, and before or after normal business hours (7:00 am - 3:30 pm).
