We are searching for full-time and part-time, seasonal Golf Shop Assistants to provide a welcoming, polished, and service-focused experience for members and guests in our Golf Shop. Golf Shop Assistants will be responsible for answering phones, assisting members and guests with their needs, selling merchandise with a high emphasis on customer service, and ensuring the Golf Shop remains folded, sized, clean, organized, and presentable at all times—and much more! This is a seasonal role, and our season starts in October and ends in late May!

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in sales, or assisting the buyer in a golf shop, and/or displaying merchandise
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required – must be able to communicate as needed with vendors, members and guests, supervisors and employees
  • Approachable, friendly personality required – must be able to relate to members and guests
  • Organizational and basic computer skills required
  • Knowledge of inventory controls
  • Must have initiative and be a self-starter with creative ideas on growing the golf shop business volume
