Salary Range $23.00 - $24.00 Hourly Position Type Seasonal

Job Summary

Our Hotel Loss Prevention Agents ensure hotel and bar guests, and staff are safe and complying with Hotel Policy to ensure a great experience for all guests. This role is predominantly overnight and weekend shifts.

Shift Requirements

Currently searching for overnight shifts starting at 8pm or 10pm and ending at 4:30am or 6:30am Fridays & Saturdays with some weekdays periodically.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute positively to the team within the department
  • Prepare for any and all guest requests
  • Participate in on-going training
  • Assess each call situation to determine best course of action.
  • Ensure compliance with emergency, security, safety and loss prevention policies and procedures
  • Practice positive guest relations
  • Handle confrontations with guests in a professional manner without the use of physical force.
  • Responsible for touring the hotel to prevent and discover activity in violation of criminal, fire or safety codes, and report dangerous conditions.
  • Respond to emergency calls and complaints, taking necessary action; handle on-scene emergency situations until relieved by a higher authority; responsible for taking proper action at the scene of incident, for notifying the police/Fire department and preparing necessary reports.
  • Check guest identification to ensure patrons in the bar area are over 21 years of age.
  • Ensure folios are delivered to rooms as needed.
  • Walk floors at 3:30am every morning to collect trays, dirty food items, and debris from hallways
  • Delivery overnight premade room service items and close check accordingly in POS system
  • Maintain current CA Food Handler card
  • Use Paycom or payroll log in system proficiently and ensure timecards are correct for each payroll period, read and update documents including but not limited to hotel policy, health benefits, and other pertinent work-related information.
  • Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor.
  • Adhering to new COVID-19 sanitation/cleanliness standards and safe practices
  • Comply with Valencia Hotel Group (and its affiliates) standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Valencia Hotel Group (and its affiliates) standards as required by scheduling which will vary dependent upon the CRO needs
  • Complete other duties as assigned by Supervisor
