Position Overview:

We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will help us harvest and grow our product for our customers. You will work closely with our maintenance team, harvest & pack area and our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:

- Strong mechanical knowledge of multiple machines and tools, including their safe operation, uses, and maintenance in a fast-paced production environment.
- Basic knowledge of the English language, including being able to read, speak, write, and to train others on operations, to include understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
- Analytical skills and the ability to use logic and reasoning to trouble shoot, identify solutions, conclusions, or approaches to a problem.
- Communicate with team members, and support teams to ensure continuous, safe production of the product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 6 months related experience or training, or equivalent of education and experience.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong knowledge of machinery and tools.
- Must frequently lift and/or move 10 to 25 pounds and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Physical Demands:

  • The working environment is subject to pressure for multiple calls, inquiries, and interruptions.
  • Hearing: perceiving the nature of sound by ear.
  • Lifting: raising or lowering objects weighing no more than 50 pounds, from one level to another.
  • Mental Demands: mathematical reasoning, memorization, oral comprehension, spatial orientation, and written comprehension.
  • Sitting: remaining in the normal seated position.
  • Stooping: bending the body by bending the spine at the waist.
  • Talking: expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken words.
  • Vision Near acuity: ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less
