Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the historic mining town of Park City which has evolved into an exciting and diverse mountain ski town. Our staff consists of locals, transplants, seasonal workers from all 50 states and international students from around the globe. We are a diverse workforce where everyone feels welcome, appreciated, and valued. No matter if you are 14 or 84 years, there is a place for you in the Deer Valley family! (Last year over 1,100 staff members celebrated their fifth season or more at Deer Valley).

PURPOSE OF POSITION: A Concierge's main objective is to provide exceptional guest and member service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with scheduling guest activities and creating itineraries
  • Document all guest interactions and requests
  • Prepare all guest-related paperwork
  • Answer phones in a professional manner
  • Generate vendor contracts
  • Complete accounting functions
  • Demonstrate proactive guest, member, and employee problem resolution with urgency, respect, and empathy
  • Document problems and supply feedback to supervisors and managers
  • Create and distribute updated schedules of recreational activities, local events, restaurant hours, etc.
  • Contribute to weekly staff/manager meetings to discuss more efficient service approaches and improvements
  • Minimize member and guest wait-time
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent administrative, organizational, and customer services skills
  • Computer literate
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to handle money
  • Able to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license to operate company vehicles

PAY RATE:

  • $20.00 per hour
