Job description

Seasonal Customer Service Representative

Location: Summit, NJ
Pay: $20.00/hour
Assignment: Seasonal (October through January, with potential to extend)

Join a customer-focused team delivering exceptional service during the busy holiday season! We're looking for friendly, tech-savvy professionals who enjoy helping people and creating outstanding customer experiences.

Schedule

Training: First 2 weeks are 100% onsite in Summit, NJ

After training(remote), choose one of the following schedules:

  • Friday - Tuesday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Monday - Friday | 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM (phones close at 8:00 PM)

Important: No vacation requests or call-outs will be approved during the blackout period of November 14 through December 2.

What You'll Do
  • Provide exceptional "white glove" customer service via phone, email, and chat.

  • Assist customers with orders, product questions, inventory availability, shipping updates, returns, and general inquiries.

  • Resolve shipping issues by working with carriers such as UPS and USPS.

  • Build positive relationships by delivering personalized, friendly, and efficient service.

  • Manage customer inquiries with speed and accuracy while meeting daily productivity goals.

  • Document customer interactions and provide feedback to improve the overall customer experience.

  • Stay knowledgeable on products to confidently assist customers and identify sales opportunities.

What We're Looking For
  • Strong communication and phone skills.

  • Comfortable using technology and learning new systems quickly.

  • Customer service, retail, hospitality, or call center experience preferred.

  • Experience with Zendesk, Shopify, or similar CRM systems is a plus.

  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

  • Positive attitude with a genuine passion for helping people.

  • Associate's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
