Our client is a leading General Contractor specializing in government, educational, municipal, and industrial projects throughout Indianapolis. They are seeking a talented Project Manager to join their growing team.
Construction Project Manager - Job Description
The Construction Project Manager oversees all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role leads project planning, coordination, and execution while serving as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and manage construction projects from start to completion
Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel
Monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality standards are met
Manage contracts, change orders, and project documentation
Enforce safety regulations and compliance requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience managing construction projects
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in project management software and construction tools
Work Environment:
