Role description:


Arcadis DPS is seeking an experienced Site Construction Manager to join our growing team in Lafayette, Indiana. In this role, the Site CM will oversee construction management staff, project performance, client relationships, and internal operations.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in construction project management, including supervisory experience and strong operational and personnel leadership skills.

This is a site-based position requiring residence within a commutable distance of Lafayette, IN. Travel candidates with direct industry experience will be considered, provided they can work full-time onsite at the clientโ€™s location. The Construction Manager will be required to wear PPE in accordance with Arcadis, client, and contractor requirements.

Role accountabilities:

  • Lead and manage large, multidisciplinary engineering teams delivering advanced semiconductor facilities.
  • Oversee construction management staff, ensuring adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and budget and margin targets.
  • Direct project planning, coordination, and issue resolution across all construction disciplines.
  • Collaborate with internal design teams to resolve construction challenges and ensure seamless project integration.
  • Plan and execute commissioning activities for all systems, maintaining adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Drive ecosystem development with construction partners, vendors, and suppliers to support site expansion in Lafayette, Indiana.
  • Implement and oversee safety and quality programs across Arcadis, clients, and contractors, ensuring full compliance with corporate and industry standards.
  • Monitor and mitigate critical path bottlenecks to ensure timely project execution and completion.
  • Oversee AHJ inspections and build strong relationships with local authorities to facilitate timely approvals.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience in semiconductor or advanced technology facility construction.
  • 20+ years of proven experience managing complex construction projects.
  • Extensive experience leading large-scale construction projects with values exceeding $1B.
  • 15+ years of experience in semiconductor construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, process, civil, structural, and architectural scopes, including construction sequencing within semiconductor manufacturing projects.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor fab operations and cleanroom construction processes.
  • Knowledge of commissioning processes and AHJ inspection protocols.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and project management tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interface effectively between construction and design teams.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve critical project issues.
  • Ability to perform in construction environments, including walking, standing, and lifting as required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; domestic travel candidates will be considered
