Job description

Adjunct Faculty-Computer Science

The Department of Computer Sciences at Mount Mercy University is seeking a part-time adjunct faculty member to teach undergraduate computer science courses at the Mount Mercy University campus in Cedar Rapids, Iowa during the Fall 2026 semester.

The following courses are available in Fall 2026:

  • CSCI-140 Foundations of Computer Science
  • CSCI-195 Programming I

In-person instruction is preferred.

Qualifications: A master's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or a closely related field is preferred. Candidates with significant industry experience and prior teaching experience are encouraged to apply.
