ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

KHAITE is looking for a passionate and client-focused Client Advisor to join our Madison Ave. store team. This role is ideal for a luxury retail professional who is passionate about building meaningful client relationships, delivering exceptional service, and serving as a brand ambassador.

The Client Advisor is responsible for driving sales, cultivating lasting client relationships, and delivering an elevated in-store experience through personalized styling, product expertise, and thoughtful clienteling. This individual will play an integral role in creating memorable client experiences while contributing to the overall success of the boutique.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Experience & Sales

  • Deliver an exceptional luxury client experience through personalized styling, relationship building, and thoughtful clienteling.
  • Develop and maintain a strong personal client book, driving repeat business and long-term loyalty.
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales goals and key performance metrics.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge across ready-to-wear, handbags, footwear, and accessories.
  • Anticipate client needs and provide styling recommendations tailored to each individual's lifestyle and preferences.
  • Proactively communicate with clients regarding new arrivals, exclusive collections, events, and special services.
  • Execute appointments, wardrobe consultations, and virtual selling opportunities as appropriate.
  • Manage client consignments in accordance with company policies, including coordinating product requests, tracking shipments, ensuring timely follow-up, and delivering a seamless end-to-end client experience.

Brand Representation

  • Serve as a brand ambassador by embodying KHAITE's values and aesthetic in every client interaction.
  • Maintain a luxury boutique environment that reflects the highest visual merchandising and operational standards.
  • Support store events, trunk shows, and VIP experiences to strengthen client relationships and community engagement.

Team Collaboration & Development

  • Foster a collaborative, positive, and inclusive team environment.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of KHAITE's collections, materials, craftsmanship, and brand story through ongoing product education and training.
  • Actively participate in product knowledge sessions and training initiatives while incorporating seasonal storytelling into the client experience.
  • Share product knowledge, styling insights, and best practices with teammates to support a culture of continuous learning.

Operations

  • Support daily operational responsibilities, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, replenishment, and stock organization.
  • Accurately process sales transactions, returns, exchanges, and omnichannel orders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
  • Maintain the sales floor and stock areas to ensure an exceptional client experience at all times.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

Education/Experience:

  • 2-5 years of luxury retail sales experience, preferably in ready-to-wear or luxury fashion.
  • Demonstrated success achieving and exceeding sales goals in a client-driven environment.
  • Experience building and maintaining a client book.
  • Familiarity with luxury clienteling tools and CRM platforms.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Foreign languages are a plus.
  • Existing network of clientele in the local market is preferred.

WE OFFER

The hourly rate is $25.00-28.00/hr + commission. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon the candidates' relevant skills and experience.
