Salary: $16 Per Hour
Location: Zephyrhills, FL
Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: Overnight 11pm-7:30am
It is a 5 Day work week including a Saturday or a Sunday every week.
We are seeking a Production Packaging Associate to join a manufacturing team in Zephyrhills, FL. This is an entry-level position responsible for packaging materials and finished products, moving materials, monitoring production lines, and operating packaging equipment.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working an overnight schedule that includes weekend work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
  • Follow all safety policies and wear required PPE.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
  • Work effectively as part of a team.
  • Follow company manufacturing policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
  • Monitor conveyor belts and clear bottle jams from production lines.
  • Pick up dropped bottles from the production floor and place them in designated bins.
  • Place discarded bottles into the grinder when applicable.
  • Inspect bottles for quality during production, packaging, and labeling.
  • Perform bottle inspections and drop tests as required.
  • Immediately report bottle defects, abnormalities, and other quality concerns.
  • Monitor packaging material levels and replenish supplies as needed.
  • Verify correct labels, bottle descriptions, and packaging according to customer requirements.
  • Move finished products to designated areas.
  • Set up and maintain organized workstations.
  • Restock supplies and maintain inventory levels to support smooth production and shift changes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Specific duties may vary depending on the plant, equipment, and facility layout.
Qualifications
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • No prior manufacturing experience required; training will be provided.
  • Must be available to work an overnight shift that includes Saturday or Sunday.

Training
Employees are required to complete Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequently use hands to grasp, handle, and operate materials and equipment.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms in various directions.
  • Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Frequently lift, push, pull, and/or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment
  • Fast-paced manufacturing and production environment.
  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical equipment.
  • Work areas can be loud.
  • Indoor temperatures may fluctuate between hot and cold depending on seasonal conditions.
  • Required PPE must be worn in production areas and other designated areas.
  • Must wear steel toe shoes
