Day Surgery Unit Registered Nurse Opportunity

Shift: FT Days Seasonal 13 week contract 5/8 hr. shifts per week M-F 7:45-3:15

Requirement: Min. of 2yrs of RN experience. Prior Day Surgery/Pre-Op, PACU or Procedural experience required

Our Day Surgery unit is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients. Are you looking to increase your knowledge base? Our leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member.

Patient Population: General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neuro, Gynecology, ENT, Oncology, Pain management, Interventional Radiology, and Gastroenterology patients. PreOp and Phase II

Patient Ratios: PreOp 1:1; Phase II: Ranges from 1:2 – 1:3-5 per ASPAN (American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses) guidelines

Number of Beds: 18

Department Specifics: Team nursing approach to pre-operative patients, ability to cross train in PACU and GI lab, and collaborative team
