Job description

Join our automotive design studio to lead the creation of innovative, human-centered vehicle interiors. You'll own cabin architecture, seating, trim, surfaces, and interior details — balancing aesthetics, comfort, ergonomics, and manufacturability. This is a hands-on, in-studio role within a small, close-knit team.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop vehicle interiors from concept through production-ready execution
  • Generate original design concepts, and industrialize other designers' visions into production-ready reality, executing others' ideas as skillfully and passionately as your own
  • Work hands-on to build and execute interior design at the highest standard — from sketching and digital modeling through physical mockups, model-making, and prototyping
  • Collaborate closely with exterior design, engineering, materials, CMF, and UX/HMI teams to deliver cohesive interior experiences
  • Balance creative vision with technical, ergonomic, and manufacturing constraints
  • Apply deep knowledge of materials, processes, and tooling relevant to vehicle interiors throughout the design process

Who You Are

  • Experienced interior designer with a strong automotive or product design background
  • Versatile product designer — a creative "Swiss Army knife" — equally skilled at concept generation and production execution
  • Hands-on maker: skilled in the physical craft of building and executing interior design at the highest standard, not just designing on screen
  • Exquisite taste and design vision, with strong knowledge of materials, process, and tooling as they relate to vehicle interiors
  • Proactive self-starter who can act with minimal direction and own projects end-to-end
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning projects from concept to production
  • Open to real-time critique and collaborative iteration
  • Thrives in a small, close-knit team environment
  • Based on-site in the studio — this role is not remote
