At Innovative Object Solutions, we’re building an information technology company that focuses on software engineering.  Our founder and President began as a software engineer and has built the company around software engineering principles.  Our focus is developing large cloud based enterprise solutions in an Agile development environment, our primary technology stack is Java/NodeJS with React/Angular frontend delivered on AWS.  As an Innovative Object Front-End Software Engineer, you’ll work on everything from customer-facing web to mobile applications using cutting-edge open source frameworks. If your passion is developing dynamic single page web applications and custom mobile applications serving millions of end users than Innovative Objects is the right fit.

Software Engineer - (Javascript/Angular)

We are looking for experienced Front End Javascript developers to develop a number of Single Page reactive web applications and custom mobile applications. The project is very high profile system that is responsible for the disbursement of over sixty billion dollars per year for the Federal Student Loan program.  The ideal candidate will have solid experience in emerging and traditional technologies including: Javascript/Typescript, Angular, React, HTML/ HTML5 and CSS.

You will:

  • Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
  • Design and develop single page applications with Angular and React
  • Develop automated unit tests for all front-end components
  • Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions.
  • Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies and mentor other team members.
  • Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 2 years of SDLC experience using Javascript technologies
  • At least 2 years of experience developing Single Page web applications
  • At least 2 years experience creating reusable Angular components

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience interfacing with back-end REST service.
  • Experience with Cross Platform mobile application development, e.g. Ionic
  • Experience developing Server Side REST Services
