Job description

Part Time Housekeeper

Morningside University is now accepting applications for a part time housekeeper working approximately 29 hours a week, which includes hours on Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing custodial tasks with the objective of keeping buildings in a clean, orderly, and attractive condition
  • Involves sweeping, mopping, floor care and general cleaning practices
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds

Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work well with others
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work in a fast pace environment
  • Have strong knowledge of cleaning practices and using household equipment
  • Ability to work well alone or in a group
