The major function of this position is:
We are seeking a Paid Search Specialist to oversee and optimize campaigns within Google Ads. This role requires a detail-oriented marketer who can manage search, display, and shopping campaigns, conduct keyword research, and drive measurable results through data-driven optimizations. The ideal candidate has mid-level experience running Google Ads campaigns and can balance strategy with hands-on execution. This role plays a critical part in driving ecommerce revenue growth by scaling efficient acquisition and maximizing return on advertising spend across paid search channels.
Salary Range: $65,000 to $70,000
Shift: 1st Shift (8:30 AM to 5:00 PM)
Hybrid Flexibility: (4 days in office/1 day remote)
Essential Duties:
  • Plan, set up, and manage paid search, display, and shopping campaigns on Google Ads.

  • Manage and optimize advertising budgets to achieve revenue and efficiency targets.

  • Conduct keyword research and build effective campaign structures (ad groups, match types, negatives).

  • Write and test ad copy to improve CTR and conversion performance.

  • Monitor performance and adjust bids, budgets, and targeting to optimize for KPIs (CPA, ROAS, CTR).

  • Analyze search terms and implement negative keyword strategies.

  • Collaborate with landing page and creative teams to align campaign messaging.

  • Provide regular reporting and actionable insights for stakeholders.

  • Design and execute structured testing initiatives across audience targeting, creative formats, bidding strategies, and campaign structures to drive incremental performance improvements.

  • Build and manage first-party audience strategies including customer lists, site visitors, and lookalike audiences.

  • Stay current with Google Ads features, policies, and digital advertising trends.
  • Perform all other duties as requested or assigned.

As a guide, indicated below is the preferred education and experience for this position:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field with 2-4 years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Shopping).

Listed below are the particular skills preferred for this position:
  • Strong knowledge of keyword research, ad copywriting, and campaign optimization.
  • Experience with conversion tracking, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics.
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to interpret performance metrics and adjust strategy.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Sheets for campaign analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with remarketing and Performance Max campaigns is a plus.
  • Experience managing performance media for ecommerce brands is a plus.
