Job description

Marketing & Advertising Specialist

InfoWest - Location: St. George, Utah
Description
InfoWest is seeking a dynamic, creative, and results-driven Marketing & Advertising Specialist to lead our marketing efforts, generate leads and elevate our brand across all platforms.

The ideal candidate will have the vision, experience, and enthusiasm to build and execute strategies that amplify our presence, attract new customers, and strengthen company culture from the inside out.

At InfoWest, our ultimate objective is: "To Provide the Ultimate Internet Experience, one customer at a time." We are looking for someone who can tell our story in powerful and authentic ways-someone who can communicate who we are, what we do, and why we love doing it.

You'll be expected to develop, execute, and continuously optimize InfoWest's digital marketing strategy across paid advertising, social media, SEO, email marketing, video, and website performance, using data-driven analytics to maximize customer acquisition, brand growth, and return on investment.

Beyond customer-facing initiatives, this leader will also oversee in-house needs such as swag, internal morale efforts, and employee support programs to ensure our culture remains strong and inspiring.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and advertising strategies that align with InfoWest's mission and growth goals.
  • Oversee brand development, advertising campaigns, digital strategies, and community engagement efforts across multiple markets.
  • Identify emerging trends and markets to strategically expand InfoWest's reach and seize new opportunities.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build a marketing team to deliver high-impact campaigns on time and on budget.
  • Foster a collaborative and creative environment where ideas thrive and results matter.
  • Partner with the executive team and team leads to support and align with company-wide strategic objectives.

Community Involvement

  • Represent InfoWest as a positive and professional ambassador in the communities we serve.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, cities, towns, community groups, nonprofits, and local organizations.
  • Develop creative sponsorships and partnerships that align with InfoWest's mission and values.
  • Coordinate InfoWest's presence at local events, community celebrations, and industry conferences.
  • Support youth programs, athletic teams, and charitable initiatives through marketing and branding campaigns.
  • Ensure that community involvement efforts not only promote InfoWest but also strengthen trust, goodwill, and long-term relationships across our service areas.

Employee & Culture Support

  • Manage in-house branding and swag programs to promote company pride.
  • Coordinate morale-building initiatives, recognition events, and internal communication campaigns.
  • Support cross-team collaboration and employee engagement.

Customer Engagement & Acquisition

  • Design campaigns to drive customer acquisition and retention with measurable results.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of press releases, newsletters, and marketing content.
  • Enhance InfoWest's online presence, including social media, web, and digital advertising.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to maximize customer acquisition strategies including attending event sponsorships and sales functions.

Analytics & Performance

  • Develop and track marketing KPIs to measure success and provide executive-level reporting.
  • Continuously evaluate campaign performance and optimize strategies for maximum ROI.

Digital Marketing & Advertising

  • Plan, launch and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google Ads, YouTube, TikTok and other digital platforms.
  • Manage advertising budgets to maximize return on investment.
  • Develop audience targeting strategies and retargeting campaigns.
  • Perform continual A/B testing of creative, messaging, offers and landing pages.
  • Monitor campaign performance daily and make data-driven adjustments.
  • Develop and execute local SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility.
  • Plan, produce and oversee short-form video content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
  • Develop automated email campaigns for customer acquisition, onboarding and retention.
  • Improve website conversion rates through landing page optimization and user experience improvements.
  • Own customer acquisition metrics including:
    • Cost per Lead
    • Cost per Acquisition
    • ROAS
    • CTR
    • Conversion Rate

Success in this role means

  • Increasing qualified customer leads month over month
  • Growing subscriber acquisition while improving cost per acquisition (CPA)
  • Building a recognizable and trusted regional brand
  • Developing marketing campaigns that generate measurable ROI-not just impressions
  • Continuously testing, measuring and improving marketing performance

Education/Experience

  • Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing and advertising.

Skills

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital and traditional marketing platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Ability to balance creative vision with data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills-both written and verbal.
  • Professional presence and accountability in representing InfoWest.
  • 3+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience.
  • Has personally managed large annual advertising budgets (or at least meaningful paid media budgets).
  • Comfortable running Meta, Google, and YouTube campaigns themselves-not just managing an agency.
  • Strong copywriter who understands what motivates people to take action.
  • Good designer with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Able to shoot and edit engaging short-form video.
  • Deep understanding of SEO and website conversion optimization.
  • Data-driven and comfortable making decisions from analytics rather than opinions.
  • Can demonstrate specific examples of lowering acquisition costs, increasing conversion rates, or generating sustained customer growth.

Full-Time Benefits Include

  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Health insurance
  • Monthly bonus pool
  • Family-friendly, stable company culture
