ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Create and execute advertising, direct mail, e-mail, social media, and PR efforts as well as theexecution of the Marketing Plan for the hotel and all associated business units.

  • Manage and optimize the portfolio's email marketing strategy.

  • Oversight of paid media and advertising vehicles to maximize revenue delivery for hotel. Work with internal departments, corporate leadership, ownership representatives, media,sales team, and all operating departments to increase exposure and awareness to maximizerevenue.

  • Responsible for developing and implementing annual and quarterly marketing strategies forsocial media sites to include blogging, creating social media profiles, managing regular posts,and responding to "followers."

  • Must stay at the leading edge of industry trends in an effort to create a marketing strategywhich generates inbound leads, gains followers, and creates a positive image for the businessunits.

  • Manage the various hotel websites and maintain up to date subject matter and photography.

  • Respond to questions and comments in a timely manner to drive engagement.

  • Utilize brand insights to create monthly editorial calendars in agreed upon time.

  • Leads and/or partners with hotel operations to conceptualize/execute property-levelProgramming and Activation, based on brand guidelines.

Marketing Manager Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Master's degree preferred but not required.

Experience

  • 3-5+ years of progressive marketing experience.

  • Experience developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.

  • Experience managing digital marketing initiatives, including social media, email marketing, website content, and online advertising.

  • Previous experience managing projects, budgets, and vendors.

  • Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, branding, and consumer behavior.

  • Experience with digital marketing platforms and social media management.

  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and email marketing best practices.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic recommendations.

  • Creative problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Experience with graphic design software (such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva) is preferred.

  • Experience using CRM and marketing automation platforms is a plus.

Salary for this position: $55,000-$70,000 annually
