As a Cam Polisher, your primary responsibility will be to operate and maintain machinery used in the polishing of cams for various applications. Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Utilize specialized polishing equipment to polish camshafts according to technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Inspect camshafts before and after polishing to ensure they meet precise tolerances and surface finish requirements.
  • Perform routing maintenance on polishing machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity. This may include cleaning, lubricating, and minor repairs.
  • Identify and address any issues or defects in the polishing process, such as uneven polishing or surface imperfections.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including quantities being produced, inspection results, and any maintenance performed.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Work closely with other members of the manufacturing team, including engineers and quality control personnel, to ensure efficient production and quality outcomes.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety in the polishing process.
