Job description

This is a full-time Dishwasher (Internal position title Food Service Partner) position, working 64 hours every two weeks, located in Torrey Pines at our Scripps Green campus.  Must be available to work a varied shift (start time will be dependent on the department's need) including 12:45pm-9:15pm, and a varied schedule including Sundays.

Our Food Services team at Green hospital is a vibrant team and is dedicated to serving the community with the highest quality of patient care experience. Located in the beautiful Torrey Pines area, we are one of the busiest cafes through serving our patients, staff and patient's families. Our team has the opportunity to rotate positions within the cafe, patient services and catering areas within our department.

The Food Service Partner performs job functions to support the following Food Service operational systems: safe food handling, meal assembly and portion control, customer service, and infection control/sanitation. Follows established policies and procedures to ensure compliance with TJC, Title XXII and other applicable regulatory requirements. Demonstrates age-specific care as established for area and job title.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English
  • SD County Food Handler Card; or Food Safety Certificate, or able to pass Food Handlers test, given by certified manager or designee

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Food Service experience
  • Food Service experience in a Healthcare setting
