Job Description

If the candidate has experience with patching Linux operating systems and third party applications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Ensure correct installation, configuration, use and maintenance of the SCCM Platform

Deploy SCCM client and troubleshoot failed client installs

Create and manage application deployment objects for new and existing software

Manage deployment of all patches, critical updates and service packs

Create and review boundaries in SCCM, remediate boundary issues as needed

Create 3rd party update packages through SCUP and remediate failed deployments

Troubleshoot and solve SCCM specific technical issues, engaging in root cause analysis

Create ad-hoc SCCM reporting of deployment success/failure, software presence, etc.

Create scripts as needed to automate tasks or functions

Coordinate and collaborate with other functional areas within IT to ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of corporate servers to meet business requirements.

Carefully follows and employs change control procedures

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Any Bachelors or Masters Degree in Technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math or Information Systems from an accredited university.
